These frameworks are designed to integrate with broader corporate governance practices, ensuring that tax matters are incorporated into strategic decision-making and internal control systems.
As part of this process, we conduct tax risk assessments and gap analyses to identify potential weaknesses in existing policies, procedures, and operational practices. We assess how tax risks are identified, monitored, and managed across business units and jurisdictions, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance oversight and accountability.
We assist in establishing clear tax policies, controls, and reporting protocols that promote consistency in tax treatment and ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations. This involves setting thresholds for tax decision-making, designating responsibilities for tax risk ownership, and integrating tax controls within financial and operational processes.
We facilitate training for internal teams, establish documentation protocols, and prepare for regulatory scrutiny or audits.
